Oil Spill in the Gulf

Research (make sure to give credit to your source) the oil spill in the Gulf. Your blog response should be a short overall view of the oil spill from the time it took place up until now. Your response also needs to answer the following questions:
1.) How does/will this oil spill effect the economy?
2.) How does/will this oil spill effect the environment? (include animals)
3.) Do you think offshore drilling should be allowed to continue? Why or why not?
4.) Do you believe the recent raise in gas prices is due to the spill? Is this fair? Why?
5.) Do you think gas prices will continue to rise? Why or why not?
